Sign up for Dr. Jean Shinoda Bolen's virtual personal development seminar. This complimentary hour with Jean is a rare opportunity to start to step into this power and glimpse the possibilities by identifying your natural archetype and empowering your full expression.

Have you wondered why one woman values marriage and children, while another prioritizes independence and achievement?

Or why one woman is an extroverted, logical professional in one setting, while in another she transforms into an introverted homebody?

Every woman is affected by powerful invisible archetypes within that shape her behavior and influence her emotions. Recognizing these archetypal energies can make these forces more accessible and lead to self-understanding and personal growth.

Each archetype leads to unique behaviors and personality traits which together comprise the full spectrum of the feminine.

Failing to identify and honor all that is rousing within you can limit your growth and create a roadblock to developing and expressing what lies in your depths. Wholeness requires you to examine and embrace every aspect of yourself, and honoring all your archetypal stirrings and desires helps ground and balance you, and gives rise to greater joy, vitality and well-being.

Knowledge of all seven goddesses and how they may be functioning within you provides important insight into your own psychology as well as that of others and, in turn, enables you to bring more clarity, compassion and wisdom into your relationships.

Ultimately, learning about the archetypal goddesses within you — which are dominant, which lie dormant, which need to be cultivated and which need to be overcome — can support you in living deeply, authentically and soulfully.

Every woman has “goddess-given” gifts to discover and accept gratefully. Every woman also has “goddess-given” liabilities, which she must recognize and surmount in order to evolve and grow.

Jean’s groundbreaking bestselling book, Goddesses in Everywoman, an exploration deep into the feminine psyche, became an instant classic when it was published 30 years ago and remains a foundational work for feminist psychology.
