Dr. Ernestina delos Santos-Mac (Global FWN100™ '13) received the Service Above Self Auberlin Award in recognition of her "selfless devotion and continuous support" of The World Medical Relief (WMR) agency at the 63rd anniversary of World Medical Relief last November 12 at the Shriners Silver Garden Event Center in Southfield, Michigan.
Dr. Mac is a full-time pediatrician at Beaumont Health System in Michigan. Dr. Mac is an influential and prominent leader in the Filipino community in Michigan since the early 70s. She is involved with the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce, Governors Advisory Council for Asian Pacific American Affairs, Philippine Medical Association of MI, USTMAAM. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Michigan State Medical Society, and Oakland County Medical Society and the Past President of Philippine American Community Center of Michigan (PACCM).
