Carmelyn Malalis (U.S. FWN100™ '09) Heads New York Commission on Human Rights' Initiative to Provide U & T Visa Certifications

Mayor Bill de Blasio and the Commissioner and Chair of the New York City Commission on Human Rights Carmelyn P. Malalis (U.S. FWN100™ '09) announced on February 9, 2016 that the Commission would begin accepting requests for and issue U and T visa certifications. The certifications are designed to help and protect victims of trafficking and violence in New York City.

Juslyn Manalo (Global FWN100™ '15) was formally inducted as a Commissioner for the City of Daly City's Personnel Board on February 11, 2016. Juslyn was appointed by the Daly City Council and will serve until February 8th, 2022. She previously was Program Coordinator of the Bill Sorro Housing Program with the Veterans Equity Center.
