We have an opening for one more experienced Administrative Professional to manage its organization's activities and programs for the 2015-2016 cycle.
The FWN Executive Committee will screen interested applicants to determine administrative/office management experience, personal interest in women's issues, technology and social media experience and career development goals. This position is ideal for someone who is able to devote 20-25 hours a week, has an interest in nonprofit work, has the ability to take initiative and complete project assignments independently and on-time, able to work remotely (from home) when necessary, ability to define problems, research and collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, ability to write simple announcements and/or press releases, business letters, meeting minutes and other correspondence, and the ability to maintain a high degree of privacy and confidentiality. Some evening and weekend hours required at various times throughout the year in particular supporting the FWN events. Excellent computer and technology experience required including basic Microsoft business applications (PPT, Word, Excel). User experience of social media and online meeting applications and non-profit fundraising software very important.
