Dr. Cristina Liamzon, program coordinator of the Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (LSE) Program for Overseas Filipinos and their Families is one of three recipients of this year’s Global Fairness Award.

House Passes Bill to Award Congressional Gold Medal to Filipino World War II Vets

The Filipino Veterans of World War II Congressional Gold Medal Act of 2015 passed the US Congress after the House of Representatives approved it on November 30th. The bill unanimously passed the Senate earlier this year on July 13, and is now one step closer to becoming a law, pending President Barack Obama’s signature.

You can help change building codes for tiny houses in cities all over the country. A new proposal has been written to help legalize tiny homes under the IRC (International Residential Code). With the help of tiny house friends and luminaries such as Andrew Morrison from Tiny House Build, a new appendix has been written to include tiny homes.
