The 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World Award™ (Global FWN100™) recognizes Filipina women who are changing the face of leadership in their local communities and in their adopted countries they now call home.
Every year, the Filipina Women's Network (FWN) honors Filipina women who have reached status for outstanding work in their respective fields and are recognized for their leadership and achievements in the global workplace. Qualified nominees were evaluated based on the size and scope of their positions, influence in their industries and their respective communities, board affiliations and other leadership roles.
FWN feted the Global FWN100™ 2015 awardees in a beautiful awards ceremony at the Marines' Memorial Club in San Francisco, California, U.S.A., formerly a women's club in the 40's whose members had met through the wartime WAVES program (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service, the World War II women's branch of the United States Naval Reserve).
The Global FWN100™ 2015 awardees represented eight countries - Canada, Israel, Japan, Norway, Philippines, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and 14 states in the U.S. representing 13 economic sectors including Consulting, Design, Education, Finance, Government, Healthcare, Information & Technology, Information Communications, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, Real Estate, Transportation and Wholesale.
