JOIN weekly FFWN Wellness Meetings Thursdays at 1500PM - 1700PM

The worldwide coronavirus pandemic lockdown has been a time for retrospection. FFWN checks in with members to share coping mechanisms for personal well-being.

    • HEADS UP: Dolly Specht (Oregon) will sing; Ann Michelle Mondragon (Switzerland)will play the piano (maybe the violin also!)

    FFWN asked its members, “How are you coping with the pandemic lockdown and the ensuring anxiety about an invisible enemy?”

     

  • Thelma Boac:  "We gather the family around the piano and we sing together." The beautiful Cassandra Grace, Thelma's granddaughter, sang "What a Wonderful World" while Thelma played the piano at the FWN Wellness Meeting #2 last April 2nd, 2020. (SOCIAL WELLNESS)

  • Trisha Marco:  "I donate blood at least once a month because my rare blood type is much in demand. Since I'm not able because of sheltering-in-place, I've been baking!" (PHYSICAL WELLNESS)

    • Dolly Specht: Discovering Korean dramas! I'm on my 13th story, and CLOY was the culprit!

    • Charina Vergara: "I discovered Korean telenovela and finished CLOY in 2 days when i had my 2 days off from working at the restaurant!! I got hooked and fell in love with Captain Ri, LOL!"

    • Fides Balita:  "The most fun is I got introduced to Korean drama - my fave is Crash Landing on You. I didn't realize that these tv shows had been in existence for quite some time! I totally missed out!!!"

  • Claire Navarro Espina: "Cooking, meditating, reaching out to family and friends, gardening. And working from home - although concentrating has become difficult. (ENVIRONMENTAL WELLNESS)

  • Marivic Garcia: Prayers. Keeping in touch with family and friends. Taking it one day at a time." (SPIRITUAL WELLNESS)

  • Edith Winterhalter: "Finally reading those books that i’ve been buying over the years but never got around to reading. and editing our dive videos from our February Negros trip — gosh! that felt eons ago! (INTELLECTUAL WELLNESS)
